About Me
Hi there, I'm Katrina!
I coach clients to achieve their personal fitness goals using lifelong, sustainable methods. I use a combination of flexible dieting and carefully programmed resistance training - this means no cookie cutter programs, endless cardio, or cutting out entire food groups. I am a CanFitPro Certified Personal Trainer and began coaching clients in-person in 2020 before making the transition to online coaching. I currently coach clients 1-on-1 online, which is where my true passion lies.
My Story
I originally came into the fitness space in 2018, after having done the “I’ll try anything” approach for years prior in hopes of simply losing weight. I came from a background of dance and competitive cheerleading, where I was constantly striving to be happier with my body and having no idea how to properly (and safely!) go about it. I tried it all - ridiculous crash diets, restricting food during the week followed by a weekend of going off the rails and “rebelling,” tons of cardio, and the occasional ab-focussed workout. I wanted results FAST and would get frustrated when I didn’t see them. I felt lost and as though I had no control over my body. What I didn’t know at the time was that I was going about it completely wrong, and that I would eventually fall in love with doing things the “hard way” (spoiler alert… the hard way actually turned out to be the way that stuck). I loved the process so much that I decided to make helping others my career. Since then, I've also competed in the Bikini division in bodybuilding and have qualified at the national level.
My Mission
My mission is to empower you through transforming your body. I aim to help clients understand HOW and WHY they are doing what they are doing so that they can continue to use these methods throughout their life, with or without a coach. I believe in lifestyle changes and not quick fixes. I live for the moment where it just clicks and clients realize "I can do this too."
